This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit SahamTalk (sahamtalk.com), who receives it, and the choices you have.
Who We Are
SahamTalk is a personal investment blog written by one individual investor. It is not a company, newsletter, or financial service.
Information You Give Us
None. You do not need an account to read this site, and there are no sign-up, comment, or contact forms. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or financial details.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit SahamTalk and which pages they read. When you visit, Google Analytics places cookies in your browser and sends information about your visit to Google. This includes the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (country or city). Your IP address is also sent to Google as part of the connection.
Google processes this information under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services. We only see summary reports, such as visitor counts and popular pages. We cannot identify you from them.
SahamTalk does not show advertising, and we do not sell or rent visitor information to anyone.
Other Services This Site Uses
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic technical details of each request to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts supplies the fonts used on this site. Your browser downloads them directly from Google, so Google receives your IP address when it does.
Live stock prices are fetched by our own server from Yahoo Finance. Your browser does not contact Yahoo, and no information about you is sent to Yahoo.
Embedded content. Some posts may include charts or media embedded from other websites. Those websites may collect information or set cookies under their own privacy policies.
Security Records
To protect the site from abuse, our server records your IP address with a request counter when your browser loads live stock prices. This lets us limit each visitor to 60 price requests per minute. Failed login attempts to the site's admin area are recorded by IP address in the same way. These records are used only for security and are never shared.
Cookies and Browser Storage
The only cookies set for readers are the Google Analytics cookies described above.
SahamTalk also saves two small settings in your browser's local storage: your language choice (All, English, or Indonesian) and whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. These stay on your device and are not sent to us or to anyone else.
Your Choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. The site works normally without them. You can also stop Google Analytics on all websites by installing Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Your Rights
Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP No. 27 Tahun 2022) and similar laws elsewhere, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted. SahamTalk itself holds no information that identifies you by name. For data collected by Google or Cloudflare, you can also use the tools and contact options in their privacy policies.
